Short Film Review |Fires and Fascism

This new film is being shown at venues all round Scotland during March. Director Peter Knapp travelled to Greece, Sicily, Spain and Portugal interviewing people affected by wild fires. The film unpicks the links between fires, the far right, big business and organised crime – and often the complicity of governments. We saw the film in Edinburgh – it’s excellent and deserves to be watched by as many people as possible as possible. It’s also possible to download the film and show yourself. It would be a great way to start off a discussion.
